Broken window

Incriminating bat

Guilty look

And grass stained clothes

You glare and you yell

Going on about

Responsibility

Playing where stuff

Won’t get broken

But, I said before

And I’ll say again,

I DIDN’T DO IT!

Day 16

Stay A While

Always before, when I was afraid or

Melancholy, you would hold my hand.

I knew everything would be alright.

Danger couldn’t touch me, I

Remember. And I remember

Everything stopped

And I forgot to breathe, hearing you were

Mortal, like me. And you were gone.

I sense your comforting presence,

Nestled in your arms, everything’s

Going to be alright.
